Smithsonian Natural History Museum {Summer Travels}

Such a hot, hazy day in Washington DC, and we made our way to one of my kids' favorite places: The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. The kids really like the fossil area, and my youngest still calls the T-Rex "Rexy" (from the movie Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian). Two years ago, when we first visited, we got to see that movie here at the Smithsonian's IMAX!

Hershey, PA: Chocolate World {Summer Travels}

On our way down to Virginia, we stopped at Hershey Chocolate World by request for a quick visit to the factory and some chocolate, of course. We will have to come back some other time for a full visit to the park, but for now, this satisfied our sweet tooth! Especially since the main tour and factory role-play is *FREE* unless you choose to buy tickets to their extra attractions, or buy some souvenirs!
