Chubby Cheeks Thinks {Features us!}

Chubby Cheeks Thinks is a place where readers can go to find out about the latest products as well as products that have been around for a while and they may want to know more about. She also likes to post about recalls, recipes, and her own family.

We volunteered to sponsor her Holiday Gift Giveaway blog hop, and she did this lovely post about us!

Thanks so much Kim for the sweet words about our products!

Amy Atlas Inspired Halloween Centerpiece Tutorial

Here are the first of our images from the last few weeks of parties! This one is the Amy Atlas inspired centerpiece we used for the Spooktacular Fall Dance that we decorated for last Friday at a local Elementary School with 500 guests. We had a lot of fun putting all the details together for this party. We plan to use this centerpiece again for the upcoming Holidays with different embellishments!

First, we spray painted a plastic urn that we found at Home Depot for $8.00.

Next, we spray painted sticks silver that we found in our backyard!

They came out gorgeous!

We spray painted leaves found at the Dollar Tree to coordinate.

Look at the difference just the few leaves made!

We added some black crows from the Dollar Tree.

Very spooky!

These skulls we took from a Dollar Tree garland, pulled them off the rope and hot glued Christmas bulb hooks to the top to hang on the tree.
We thought they looked like little monkey skulls!

We spray painted an old wreath we found in the garage to match the branches.

And fit it around the bottom of the urn for a little something extra!

...Viola!

We thought it looked so big in our design space, but when we placed it on our tablescape in the school cafeteria, it was perfect!

Everyone loved it!

We hope you did too!

More to come...

Lots of Smiles,
Amber

Taking a break...

Did you notice that we were taking a break?

Well, we didn't mean to take quite such a break, but since it's just me and my darling sister, Amber (our pic below), getting the party started, and we decided that we had to refinish a room in my house, design a desert table for our local school for 500 guests, and get ready for more up and coming party goodness, the blog took a back seat for a couple of weeks.

But - we've been taking lots of pictures, and we are about ready to share it all with you! Along with our freebies, party tips, bloggy clips, wicked smaht awards, blog hop Fridays and all the stuff you look forward to.

Watch out! Cuz here we come!
