Amy Atlas Inspired Halloween Centerpiece Tutorial

Here are the first of our images from the last few weeks of parties! This one is the Amy Atlas inspired centerpiece we used for the Spooktacular Fall Dance that we decorated for last Friday at a local Elementary School with 500 guests. We had a lot of fun putting all the details together for this party. We plan to use this centerpiece again for the upcoming Holidays with different embellishments!

First, we spray painted a plastic urn that we found at Home Depot for $8.00.

Next, we spray painted sticks silver that we found in our backyard!

They came out gorgeous!

We spray painted leaves found at the Dollar Tree to coordinate.

Look at the difference just the few leaves made!

We added some black crows from the Dollar Tree.

Very spooky!

These skulls we took from a Dollar Tree garland, pulled them off the rope and hot glued Christmas bulb hooks to the top to hang on the tree.
We thought they looked like little monkey skulls!

We spray painted an old wreath we found in the garage to match the branches.

And fit it around the bottom of the urn for a little something extra!

...Viola!

We thought it looked so big in our design space, but when we placed it on our tablescape in the school cafeteria, it was perfect!

Everyone loved it!

We hope you did too!

More to come...

Lots of Smiles,
Amber

  4. I love this. I will modify it for our holiday party at work this December by hanging snowflakes from the branches. Thanks
